An apartment offers you everything a hotel room does – and much more: spacious living and sleeping areas, a fully equipped kitchen and the freedom to plan your day independently of breakfast and restaurant hours. Especially for couples, solo travellers and longer stays, a holiday apartment is usually the more economical choice, as you book an entire apartment rather than individual rooms. And you won’t have to go without your usual comforts: bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included, and our team is personally there for you.

How to reach us:

By car:
From the A5 motorway, take the Freiburg-Mitte exit and follow the B31a towards Freiburg. At the Schlossbergring, move into one of the two left-hand lanes to turn onto Schwabentorring. After about 550 metres, turn left into Mozartstraße – after about 250 metres you will find us on the left.

By public transport:
From the main railway station, take tram line 3 towards Zähringen and get off at the Europaplatz stop. A six-minute walk brings you to our door.

Book your stay conveniently through our website. Depending on the rate you have booked, you can make changes and cancellations yourself. To do so, open the booking confirmation you received by email straight after booking and click the link “Detailed Booking Information” at the end of the email. On the following page, please enter the email address used for the booking and your surname. You can then view, change or cancel your booking.

Depending on the rate, up to two rebookings are free of charge. Changes and cancellations are free of charge up to three days before arrival.

Please note that for bookings made via booking portals such as Booking.com, the conditions stated there apply.

You can move into your apartment from 16:00 – check-in at our check-in machine directly at the building is available around the clock. Enter your access code at the terminal to collect your apartment key card. Further information is also available in the digital guest service system. Arrival before 16:00 is possible by prior arrangement.

Please check out by 11:00. Leave your apartment key card on the table and close the door behind you. Complete the online check-out in the digital guest system – your invoice will then be sent to you automatically by email. Late check-out until 12:00 is possible by prior arrangement.

We are happy to provide a baby cot and a high chair free of charge. Simply reserve these before you arrive, or contact our team during your stay.

The City of Freiburg charges a statutory overnight accommodation tax (Übernachtungssteuer) of 5% of the accommodation rate for private stays. This tax is already included in the price shown when you book, so there is nothing extra to pay on arrival. Freiburg does not levy a separate visitor’s or spa tax (Kurtaxe).

For stays of seven nights or more, we offer a free intermediate cleaning on request. This includes cleaning the floors, changing the towels, emptying the bins, replenishing toilet paper, coffee and soap, and a quick clean of the bathroom and kitchen.

Additional intermediate cleaning at intervals of your choice is available for €25 per clean. Please contact our team to arrange this.

On departure, we kindly ask our guests to leave the apartment swept clean and with the dishes washed. Heavy soiling will be charged according to the work involved, with a minimum charge of €25. We take the liberty of retaining your credit card or passport details as a deposit. This data is irrevocably deleted on the day of departure.

When you book directly through our website, you are guaranteed the best price – with no booking fees and no agency commissions. You benefit from flexible change and cancellation options up to three days before arrival, and our team is your personal point of contact before, during and after your stay. Exclusive offers such as the Long Stay Special with the discount code LONGSTAY (20% off from 30 nights) are also only available when booking via our website.

For longer stays, you benefit from attractive special rates. For stays of 30 nights or more, simply enter the discount code LONGSTAY when booking via our website to receive 20% off the booking price.

To protect our guests, our team and our neighbours, binding house and access rules apply in all apartments. Only guests who have booked and registered correctly may access the apartments and the areas reserved exclusively for guests. Visitors must be registered with us and expressly approved before entering the building, by phone on +49 761 600 466 60. Apartment key cards, keys and access codes must not be passed on to third parties.

The apartments may only be used for the agreed purpose of accommodation. Commercial or business use, subletting, granting use to third parties, overnight stays by unregistered persons, and parties or events are not permitted. The solicitation, brokering or provision of sexual services on the premises and in the apartments is also expressly prohibited. Quiet hours apply from 22:00 to 07:00; noise, harassment, threats, violence, drugs, weapons and other unlawful conduct will not be tolerated, nor will open flames anywhere in the building. The apartments, their furnishings and other property must not be damaged; we may charge you for any damage caused.

We are entitled to verify access and booking authorisation; suitable proof of identity must be provided on request, and the instructions of our team must be followed. Checks are carried out according to uniform, non-discriminatory criteria. In the event of violations, we may refuse access, ask individuals to leave the premises, block access media, end the stay early, issue a ban from the premises, and notify the police or the relevant authorities; we may charge you for any damage and additional costs incurred.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all apartments.

Please enter your billing details in our guest system before your day of departure. Your invoice will be sent automatically to the email address you provided on the day of departure. You will receive access to our guest system a few days before arrival.

Luggage storage is possible by prior arrangement. Please contact us in advance by email or phone.

The rental price includes bed linen, bath towels, tea towels, washing-up liquid and bin bags. We also provide coffee pads for the coffee machine and salt and pepper; apartments with a washing machine are also stocked with detergent. Please let us know if you need a top-up or anything else. Final cleaning is also included in the price.

You can park comfortably in our on-site car park for €15 per night per space. Please contact us if you would like to book a space.

Bookings made through our website can be conveniently paid for by credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or PayPal.

Pets are warmly welcome. For the additional cleaning we charge a flat rate of €15 per night per pet. Please register your pet with us before you arrive.

Smoking is not permitted in the apartments or anywhere in the building. Please understand that we will charge €300 if this rule is not observed.

At Mozartstraße 1, video surveillance covers only the immediate areas around the outer and inner main entrance. It serves to protect our guests and team, to control access, and to help clarify specific security incidents.

Apartment doors and living areas are not monitored. No audio recording, facial recognition or other AI-based analysis takes place.

Recordings are generally deleted automatically after 48 hours at the latest, unless they need to be temporarily retained as evidence due to a specific incident.
